For the last 20 years, its clinics, schools, and health centers have dedicatedly diagnosed & treated developmental disabilities in children by actively improving their social, emotional, communication, learning, thinking, and behavioral skills. To help children reach their full potential, Genesis diversified its brand vision with Softobiz by developing a feature-rich tech-powered software named FirstPath. It’s an online platform digitizing their clinical, administrative, operations, and management processes for a faster, effective & research-based Autism treatment.
The Problem
Genesis Behavior Center was keen on developing comprehensive behavioral health software – FirstPath to end the paperwork-based processes within the organization. Simplifying & digitizing the child onboarding process, its ASD & behavioral assessment, treatment planning & goal management, client-staff scheduling, related funding resource management, insurance claim process, payroll systems, billing management, documentation, and reporting was a huge level task for Genesis.
Another problem was to streamline & integrate their multiple administrative operations on a single platform in a robust infrastructure to empower behavioral therapists’ focus on care & treatment. The mainstream goal of Genesis was to provide purposeful solutions in their platform to support ASD and behavior care treatment from childhood to adulthood. While all these challenges existed, a high-level problem was transforming their previous paperwork-based data into digital & accessible data.
The solution
After understanding all the challenges and high-level requirements in developing FirstPath, Softobiz offered an integrated comprehensive approach to include multiple modules and on-demand features on a single platform, keeping cost-affordability & data security a top-most priority. We designed FirstPath software to enable Autism professionals perform effortless child onboarding, assessments, treatment, daily schedules, time management, report generation, billings, insurance claims, and other administrative processes.

Integrating multiple modules such as Registration, Assessment, Treatment, Care Plan & Child Goal management, Client-Staff Scheduler, Insurance management, Payroll & Billing system, Time Card module, Report management, and Library for videos/tutorials in FirstPath led to powerful digitization of offline data, business operations, and key processes.
