Fleet tracking with offline support

We built TrackIT to capture asset activity without a network connection, synchronise records when connectivity returns and support fleet dispatch.

THE CLIENT

TrackIT needed fleet tracking with offline support in areas of poor coverage.

TrackIT tracks fleet vehicles and equipment across sites where network coverage cannot be assumed. We built the platform that does it.

Offline-first capture on the device, a full audit trail on every transaction, real-time fleet status flowing to dispatch, and a live status dashboard that shows where the fleet is and what it is doing.

THE CHALLENGE

What stood in the way.

CHALLENGE 01

Coverage you cannot count on

Assets sit in yards, depots, and terminals where the network drops. Tracking that needs a connection stops being tracking.

CHALLENGE 02

Dispatch working from yesterday

A fleet view that updates on a batch is a fleet view that is always behind the fleet.

CHALLENGE 03

Movements nobody can reconstruct

Without an audit trail on every transaction, a disputed movement comes down to memory.

WHAT WE BUILT

The solution, piece by piece.

01

An offline-first data engine

Transactions are captured and held on the device, then reconciled when the network returns. The check does not wait for coverage.

02

An audit trail on every transaction

100% of transactions recorded, so any movement can be reconstructed after the fact.

03

Real-time fleet status

Vehicle and equipment state flows through to dispatch as it changes, not on a nightly batch.

04

A live status dashboard

One screen for where the fleet is and what it is doing, for the people making the next call.

05

Built for depots and terminals

The platform works in the places assets actually sit, not only where the signal happens to be good.

THE OUTCOMES

What changed for the client.

100%

Transactions audited

Every transaction on the platform carries a record that can be reconstructed.

Offline-first

Tracking that survives the dead zones

Work continues on the device and reconciles when coverage returns.

Live

Dispatch sees the fleet as it is

Real-time status replaces a picture that was always a shift behind.

One view of fleet and equipment

Vehicles and equipment tracked on the same platform, in the same view.

SERVICES BEHIND THIS STORY

The capabilities that carried this engagement.

TRACKING THAT DOES NOT DROP OUT

The asset keeps moving when the signal stops.
